Healing Circles Langley launches
January 1, 2015

We have opened the doors to Healing Circles Langley on Whidbey Island, WA. Our original intention was to offer a safe haven—part secular sanctuary and part community social hub—to support those impacted by cancer, other chronic conditions, or the trauma of grief and loss. We have expanded our original scope to include support for those looking ahead—whether with anxiety or excitement!—to the uncertainties of life unfolding. We are guided by the beliefs that 1) we all have an inherent ability to discover what we each find healing, and 2) we find that easier to do in a supportive community. For further information, please consult the Healing Circles Langley website.

Something More Than Hope/Something More Than Everything book available!
October, 2014

There is a peculiar freedom in hopelessness. Being told there was no cure opened up all kinds of avenues that we would not have explored otherwise, avenues that are available—but perhaps not at all obvious—to anyone else. When we tell this story, the conversation invariably turns to: “You should write a book.”

So we have. We have wedded Diana’s story about learning to speak for her trillions of cells with Kelly’s caregiver commentary from his blog about what went right when life went wrong. See the left sidebar for links to online retailers or, better yet, order a copy from your local bookseller.

Transformational Dialogue with Dr. Craig Weiner
September 30, 2014

From the promotional material for the event: Diana Lindsay and her husband Kelly Lindsay faced what for some would have been insurmountable odds. She was given a 1% chance of survival over Stage 4 lung cancer. Join us for this Transformational Dialogue with Dr Craig Weiner and the Lindsays as the discuss their unique journey of utilizing both mainstream and non-allopathic methods to overcome the odds. They explore what is was like for Diana to establish deep and accurate communication with the cells of her body and what it took for Kelly to shift from living a life looking at probabilities to possibilities and let go of belief models that needed to be released for them to heal individually and together.

Wow! I’m really eager to read your book and glad that that will happen soon — but you are doing awesome work in the meantime. And it’s so cool that you’re doing it together. Yours, Barbara

Diana, you will be happy to learn that the intuitive guidance system you employed has been in practice for thousands of years in the Andes, and used by the ancient Incans! Who knew? I just finished a seminar on ‘journeying to find our healed states’, lead by a Peruvian shaman, who has nothing on you! I join your friends and family in sending you and Kelly deep love and gratitude for how to live a passionate life!

Thanks for the note, Mary. What gives me hope about the power of the mind and body to communicate is precisely because it is such an ancient practice. It’s been built into us. I am happy to concede to the shaman’s centuries of accumulated wisdom but what may be new in our collective evolution is that the ability to access our deeper healing resources is now available to us all, not just the few. You’d love the articles that show the placebo effect has doubled in power since the 1980s. Although the news articles tend to focus on the triggers–the pill, the doctor’s suggestion, our “gullibility”–the real story is that our bodies are self-healing.
